About Weston Angermeier, DPM

Weston Angermeier, DPM is a skilled foot and ankle specialist and surgeon at Richmond Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates. Dr. Angermeier believes in a personal and goal based approach while treating patients, and believes in a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Dr. Angermeier was born and raised in Cleveland, OH where he attended Benedictine High School. He went on to earn a BS in Biology at the University of Dayton in 2014, followed by his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) Degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2018.

Following his graduation, Dr. Angermeier completed a 3 year Foot & Ankle surgical residency at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA where he scrubbed hundreds of surgical procedures and learned many different styles and techniques of clinical and surgical based podiatric care.

Dr. Angermeier is an active member of multiple podiatric organizations, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association. 

In his free time, Dr. Angermeier likes to spend time outdoors, being active, and cheering for his hometown Cleveland sports teams.


About Rachel Hensley, DPM

Rachel Hensley, DPM  is board qualified in forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She has completed advanced training in arthroscopic/endoscopic surgery and is certified in the Treace-Lapiplasty system.

From diabetic limb salvage to flat foot reconstruction, Dr. Hensley provides the best conservative and surgical care for her patients. She is trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques especially for bunions and tailor’s bunions. Dr. Hensley also offers injections for fat-pad atrophy. Each procedure is carefully considered and tailored to each patient’s activity and lifestyle. While functionality is the primary focus of any procedure, she achieves aesthetically pleasing results with thoughtful incision placement and suture techniques to minimize scarring.


Dr. Hensley grew up in a military household. Her assignments included Iceland, Japan, and various states across the US. In total, six moves in 14 years with three different high schools. This multicultural experience has prepared her to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.


Dr. Hensley ultimately completed high school in Stafford, VA. Then off to college, Dr. Hensley attended Villanova University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology – with honors. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Hensley earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.


DPM in hand, she embarked on a three year podiatric medicine and surgery residency with reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery at Reading Hospital, a 714 bed, level one trauma center, in West Reading, PA. There, she learned the latest surgical techniques in sports medicine surgeries, diabetic limb salvage, Charcot reconstruction, wound care, and other elective forefoot/rearfoot surgeries. She also served as Chief Resident at Reading Hospital.


In her free time, Dr. Hensley enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Logan, a Hungarian vizsla and Owen, a rescued beagle.
